This role will be responsible for:
- Assisting in designing and supervising of the blast hole drilling and analyzing data
- Blasting design and staking in the field
- Installing and surveying pit wall monitoring systems
- Participating and/or developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for all tasks related to the above responsibilities
Required:
- Mining Technician or Mining Technologist Diploma
- 2 years experience working in a mining environment
- Recent working experience in similar roles within the mining industry
- Knowledge of surveying
- Ability to use survey instruments and do surveying
