Senior Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and technically astute Accountant within a globally recognised mining company in Perth. This company has an excellent reputation in the market and offers challenging opportunities and excellent remuneration packages to their staff. 


Due to internal promotions, two vacancies have opened supporting well known and successful projects on a full time basis. The primary focus of this position will be to provide mine accounting support at a senior level while mentoring two accountants within the team. 
This varied role will see you assist senior commercial staff with the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, life of mine plans and analysis of monthly figures. Furthermore you will maintain relationships and liaise with internal/ external auditors, taxation personnel and site operational teams. 


This is a senior level role which will require several years experience in a senior management accounting role and mining industry exposure. You will offer life of mine modelling experience, strong budgeting and forecasting skills and previous experience working in a senior mine accounting position will be beneficial.
