Training Advisor

We have an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Training Advisor to join a large multi-national drilling and maintenance company working on various sites across Western Australia.

Working autonomously and reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for and contribute to the company’s strong culture of continuous improvement through the delivery, development and monitoring of training activities, safety processes and procedures.

Key duties and responsibilities include:
• Training delivery, coaching, mentoring and assessment for both new and existing employees.
• Ensuring all aspects of structured training programs are completed satisfactorily
• Training needs analysis and reporting for field based employees
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on training issues

The successful applicant will have significant experience in surface multipurpose drilling as well as a demonstrated ability to build successful working relationships across all levels of drilling operations.

In addition, applicants will require:
• Cert III in Drilling
• A minimum of Cert IV Training and Assessment
• Competence to deliver both individual and group based training
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility and initiative to meet the challenges presented by remote field environments
• The ability to meet stringent site access requirements including National Police Clearance and pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening
This is a FIFO position from Perth to site locations across WA. The roster will be as per requirements but generally a two weeks on and one week off roster applies to most sites. All work related travel, on site accommodation and meals are included.
