Financial Accountant

Well established mining company currently in its 21st year of operation, offers equipment, process plant and mine development solutions to the mining, processes sing and heavy industry markets. They employ a full spectrum of engineering, technical and corporate professionals. As 1 of SA’s top 500 companies it is growing and looking for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team, based at the East Rand Office.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Matric
  • B Comm (Accounting)
  • 5-8 years experience in a Mining /Manufacturing/ Engineering environment
  • Exp in Financial Accounting (ESS)
  • Exp in Group Consolidations (ADV)
  • Advance computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel and Pastel Evolution
  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans

Duties

  • Managing, implementing and analyzing all cost accounting procedures and systems
  • Managing, preparing and analyzing all financial accounts
  • Responsible for auditing of all accounts
  • Ensuring that all reports have been submitted accurately and timeously
  • Cost Accounting

  • Group Consolidations

  • Asset Management
  • Cost Effectiveness
