Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant B-degree or equivalent
  • Admitted attorney will be an added advantage
  • Any training relevant to the areas of law and management as set out below
  • 5years experience in a relevant legal environment
  • Knowledge of various legislation including environmental, occupational health and safety, mine health and safety, company and corporate; and mining and mineral legislation
  • Drafting and vetting of agreements
  • Litigation/ Arbitration/ alternative dispute resolution
  • Corporate governance
  • Mineral and mining law
  • Mining and Manufacturing related matters
  • Sound general legal basis
  • Computer Literate - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Written and verbal communication skills in the English language
  • Administrative and managerial skills
  • Must be in possession of a satisfactory medical report from the company's medical station (Red ticket)
  • Must be in possession of a valid drivers licence
  • Must be willing to relocate to the Emalahleni area
