Do you have experience in developing and integrating enterprise risk management process into the current management system?

Minimum Requirements

  • BCom or BSc will be an advantage
  • CPD courses involving the following standards - ISO31000, BS25999, King III, ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007
  • CPD courses involving Internal Auditing, Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity and Business Impact Assessments
  • At least 5 years experience in a risk management role in a large organisation
  • Experience in conducting annual business continuity tests
  • Experience in setting up and testing IT disaster recovery plans
  • Previous Internal Auditing experience in manufacturing environment would be advantageous
  • Previous experience in maintaining and auditing an integrated Safety, Health, Risk Environment and Quality management system would be advantageous
  • A technical background would be advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
  • Must be able to display good interpersonal skills and use own initiative
  • Computer Literacy
  • Word fast and accurately
  • Planning and organising skills
  • Must be able to work in a close team structure
  • Ability to assess and interpret SHREQ requirements consistently
  • Assertive and ability to handle conflict situations
  • Ability to maintain and practice confidentiality
  • Must be in possession of valid driver's licence and have own transport
  • Must be in possession of/ be able to obtain a satisfactory medical report from the company's medical station (Red Ticket)

Job Specification

  • Assist with the development and implementation of a corporate ERM and BC management system
  • Advice and assist divisions in implementing the system
  • Conduct audits on the integrated system as a member of the SHREQ audit team
  • Maintenance and development of the SHREQ management system in accordance with ISO31000; BS25999; King III; ISO9001: 2008; ISO 14001:2004; OHSAS 18001:2007: ISO 31000:2009 and other requirements
  • Reporting directly to UNIT MANAGER - ISO Systems and Metallurgical Administration
