With over 150,000oz of gold produced every year my client is one of the largest gold producers in Australia. Their Kalgoorlie mining project has a long term expectancy and due to further expansion in this region they are seeking to add to their portfolio of considerable expertise.


Their Paddington office is urgently seeking an experienced underground mining surveyor to join their team and work on an exciting mining project in the Kalgoorlie region of WA.


Within this role you will take responsibility for:


Survey control for the mine site
Carrying out surveys for construction and planning
The maintenance of all survey equipment
Collection and reconciliation of all survey works ensuring that they are accurate
Ensuring all OH and S standards are being met on a day to day basis while on site
carrying out detail surveys for all headings

To be eligible to apply for this role you will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in mine surveying
• A minimum of 3 years experience in underground mining projects
• Experience with various mining software such as Surpac and Vulcan
• Proficiency in Leica, Trimble and/or other surveying equipment
• Have a mine surveyors authorisation of grade 2 or above in WA
• A valid drivers licence
• A professional attitude and the ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously when required.
