Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis
Position Summary
- Provide direction to the Architecture and Software Finance Segment organization to ensure timely and cost effective completion of all objectives assigned to the Segment and business units.
- Responsible for the development of the Segment level forecast and annual operating plan (AOP) and related analysis as required. Provide financial expertise to business unit financial teams within the Segment.
- Preparation, coordination, and analysis of the Segment annual operating plan, presentation and related supporting schedules.
- Coordination and analysis of the quarterly forecast for the Segment including preparation of analysis and any related schedules required by Corporate.
- Preparation and coordination of QPR (Quarterly Performance Review) presentation for both the businesses and Segment.
- Responsible for communication and coordination of financial information requests with the Singapore Finance team.
- Provide guidance related to financial systems (Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, SAP, etc.) to the business unit finance personnel.
- Responsible for driving the analysis of price realization, incentive plan measures, and daily order and shipment reporting.
- Participate in the short and long-range business planning activity, including the annual BSR (Business Strategic Review) process.
- Provide support and determine financial requirements for the new Control, Architecture and Technology organization.
- Utilize financial reporting systems to support Architecture & Software senior management, business units and various corporate requests.
- Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments, and manage the financial analysis staff to ensure the timely and cost effective completion of all work and projects assigned to the department.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Arts degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA or CPA desirable.
- Five or more years of experience in finance and/or accounting including prior experience in budgeting, management reporting, BU finance support, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of personal computers is required. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Hyperion and SAP knowledge desirable.
