Construction Materials Testing Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Construction Materials Testing Engineering Technician needed to join our Dallas, TX team to perform field inspections and observations within highway construction projects.
- Provides test results, analysis, and field data to the Project Manager.
- May assist with writing field reports, internal correspondence, and draft/final reports.
Basic/Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain required ACI certifications to perform appropriate inspections.
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician
- Grade 1 mandatory, additional ACI certifications preferred.
- Troxler or equivalent certification
- TxDOT certifications a plus
- (SB101, SB102, SB103, SB201, SB202 in soils; Lvl 1A, 1B, 2 in Asphalt)
- 3+ years’ experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Microsoft Word, Excel
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required
- Must pass drug test, physical, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy.
Physical Demands
- Physical examination required to obtain medical clearance to work.
- Ability to routinely lift and carry 30 pounds.
- Clean driving record and capable of being insured for driving company vehicles.
- Able to work in variable outside conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
