Senior Project Manager, Environmental and Permitting

Job Duties:

Norwest Corporation has an opportunity in the Denver, Colorado office for a Senior Project Manager who is experienced in environmental reviews and permitting for mining and energy projects.  The ideal candidate will also be experienced in business development in the same field.

Education and Position Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Environmental Management or relevant environmental field and at least 15 to 20 years of experience required
  • Experience in the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act as well as State and Federal programs related to mining, oil and gas, water and air
  • Experience in additional regulatory areas such as wetlands/water of the U.S., Underground Injection Control and water rights as well as experience outside of the U.S. considered a plus
  • Direct experience at an operating site also a plus
  • Some travel required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated abilities to work with multi-disciplinary groups within the organization as well as outside
