Community Development Officer

The Town of Snow Lake is seeking an individual for a term position as a Community Development Officer from February 2012 to June 2012 to provide customized services that enhance the capacity of community leaders and organizations to achieve their goals and address community issues related to the growth of the Town resulting from the expansion of the mining industry in the region.

Qualifications:

·         Education in Development, Community Planning or Business or an equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.

·          Strong communications skills, both written and verbal

·         An understanding of municipal regulations, programs and services relating to community economic development and business development.

Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and training.
