About the Company
Our client has established mining operationsin the Bowen Basin with exciting plans for expansion and growth.  As a result, they are seeking a Commercial Superintendent with a strong background in mining and exceptional accounting skills to give support to the onsite management team.  This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding operation and also enjoy an outstanding residential location. 

About the Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Commercial Superintendent will assist in the financial management of the site.  Your expertise and advice will be required in relation to budgets and forecasts and with an eye to monitoring the key business drivers.  The preparation of timely, accurate and regular financial reports will be crucial to your success.  Your advice will be sought in relation to capital expenditure and you will have real opportunity to influence the future development of this site. 

About You
The ideal candidate will have tertiaryaccounting or finance qualifications complemented by CPA/CA membership; mastery of Excel is a natural prerequisite.  This role is well suited to an individual currently performing at this level or a skilled site-based accountant with experience in mining seeking a step up.  You will need a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic.  You will liaise regularly with key stakeholders and need strong communication skills to succeed.
