Finance Manager - Mining Industry - Western NSW - 130K-170K+ Bonus

This leading Mining company have an excellent reputation within the Australian mining industry for quality and performance.
 
2011 was a great year for them and 2012 looks set to continue the trend with the opening of a brand new mine in NSW.
 
Due to this expansion they are currently looking for an experienced mining Finance Manager to take up a key Senior Management role. The role will be based outside Sydney (albeit a three hour journey to the CBD), based in a great town which really embodies the relaxed NSW dream. Your Duties

• Work directly with the mining manager and the executive board to achieve growth and performance targets
• Be actively involved in creating the Finance function, including the implementation of new accounting software
• Advise the MD on operational and financial performance and areas of improvement
• Management reporting, budgeting and cash-flow forecasting
• Financial Accounting
• Oversee the AR and AP team
• Preperation of BAS, FBT, IAS and Tax returns
• Liaise with the external accountants, ASIC, the ATO and bankers

Your Background

• 8+ years of Accounting experience with at least 5 from the mining industry
• Ability to work autonomously and advise on a range of financial and operational matters
• CA / CPA qualifications
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Able to work cohesively in a team based culture
