Country Head of Legal, French speaking

Contract Fly-in-Fly-out position in the mining sector in a remote and safe area of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Single status position (not favourable for wives and families to reside there) with a six day working week. Reports to the General Counsel & Company Secretary.

Initially it is a 1 year contract and then renewable for a further 2-3 years, depending on you and the company the contract could be for a longer period of time.

Key Technical Skills Required:

• A minimum of 7 years of post qualifying experience, with strong preference as in-house counsel of an international industrial company
• Experience with doing business in Africa, ideally DRC
• Essential: Fluent French and English
• Candidate should be able to commit working and residing in DRC

Remuneration And Benefits:

• Salary up to US$250,000 p.a (tax free plus benefits), depending on skills and experience
