HR Clerk

An engineering/manufacturing concern (steel / mining equipment) requires the assistance of an Human Resource Clerk at its offices in Kya Sands.

The incumbent will assist with the compilation of Offers of Employment, Job Specs, HR admin, updating and safekeeping of employees’ file

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill for Human Resource Clerk Job
  • High level of confidentiality in dealing with acquired written or verbal information
  • Ability to file and store documents in an organized and safe manner
  • Approachable and pleasing personality in handling office visitors
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Minimum Education Requirements / Certification
  • Matric + HR Tertiary Qualification
  • Any qualification in office management and/or prior experience will be considered beneficial

Job Specification

Job Description :

  • The Human Resource Clerk will perform all or some of the following Job description :
  • Regularly update employees’ file ensuring all records are properly documented
  • Attend to minor complaints made by employees regarding their records while directing serious cases to the HR Head
  • Draft office correspondence such as letters and notices and distribute them to the different departments or personnel concerned
  • Ensure that internal and external office documents are filed properly
  • Assist in the preparation of venues and materials during the conduct of HR-related activities
  • May perform other duties delegated by the HR Manager / CFO / Project Manager
  • Book flights, hotel accommodation and make necessary reservations for speakers and guests of the office
