HR Management Consultant

One of SA’s largest new mining companies in Fourways requires a Human Resource Management Consultant to develop and implement human resource techniques and strategies in order to meet the organization’s distinctive requirements

• The suitable Candidate will be employed on an hourly basis according until project completion.

Minimum Requirements

• 12 years HR Generalist experience with 5 years in senior management role
• Min of 5 years HR experience in mining environment
• Must be well acquainted with conditions of employment, remuneration, job-grading, recruitment, training and performance management as well as OD
• Mining experience is essential

Job Specification

• Active participation in administering the Human Resources Department
• Involvement in providing objective advice, expertise and specialist skills with the aim of creating value, maximizing growth and improving HR business performance
• Implement performance management systems, HR control systems and assist the firm attract talented people for the required job(s)
• Identify, reviews, and advise on tasks related to recruitment process and employment strategies to meet human resources requirements
• Coordinate and participate as a selection panel member in recruitment process, including selection, appointment process, preparing reports
• Undertake quality checks of selection and recruitment processes and reports; liaise with management to ensure effective meeting of guidelines and standards
• Analyze people relating metrics, trends and making recommendations to HR Manager for any action; manage all activities in association with information related to employee perception surveys
• Work with HR team member to ensure effective meeting of organization objectives through collaboration, openness and personal development
• Develop, interpret and evaluate human resources operation guidelines and policies
• Investigate, research, and prepare brief notes or reports on new policies, procedures, and practices of human resources to ensure accurate service delivery
