My client is a leading international service company with an excellent reputation. [Company] are presenting an excellent opportunity for a multicomponent project leader to be based in the UK. The role will include managing and administering seismic data processing projects to maximise production quantity and efficiency, minimising turnaround time and optimising productivity.
Essential Job Experience:
• Strong understanding of geophysical and geological principles
• Good understanding of signal processing, demultiple and imaging
• Proven experience with QC of large volumes of seismic data including 3d visualisation, attribute analysis.
• Previous 2C or 4C processing experience
• Project management experience
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
• Ideally 5+ years of hands on 4C processing experience
Qualifications: 5+ years experience
Education Requirements:
Required: Bachelor's Degree gained at an accredited University/Institute
Applicant Requirements:
• Develop and maintain good client report
• Ensure that group processing meets client and company specification
• Ensure all necessary testing is performed accurately and results are presented clearly
• Produce accurate forecasts and reports of project finances, status and resource requirements
• Manage and be accountable for all group activities/personnel movements
• Design efficient processing sequences and testing flows
• Liaise closely with technical support groups to ensure quality and turnaround targets are maintained
• Run projects smoothly, including planning, organising and delegating
• Complete staff appraisals
• Be aware of advances within seismic data processing, communication/data transfer techniques and keep up to date with company geophysical software
• Assist with on the job training
• Arrange post project reviews with management
• Provide assistance to less experienced project leaders
