Due to expansion, this international multi-disciplinary consultancy has a fantastic opportunity for an Environmental Consultant to join their London based team. Within the role the successful Environmental Consultant will predominantly be working to deliver large scale renewable projects including on shore / off shore wind farm developments.
Qualifications: Ideally candidates will have a BSc / BEng (or equivalent) in a relevant environmental / engineering discipline and will have membership to an appropriate professional body such as the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment or similar.
Location: Central London
Experience: In this instance applications are sought from candidates with project management and Environmental Impact Assessment experience, ideally within a consultancy environment. It is anticipated that the successful Environmental Consultant will have extensive knowledge of the renewable energy industry and environmental law.
Duties:
- Supporting the delivery of large scale renewable energy projects, including on shore and off shore wind, biomass and carbon capture
- Deliver expert consultancy services to the environmental team
- Preparing high quality written reports
- Keeping an up to date knowledge of all relevant policies and legislation
- Assisting with the preparation of proposal and contract documents
- Liaising with clients
