Our Client is a rapidly growing, multi-disciplinary consulting firm requiring an HSE Advisor for the construction of mine-site camp facility in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
They have ongoing contracts mainly throughout the Pilbara region offering comprehensive management and supervison services during construction, ranging from overall project management to on-site inspection services.
They are currently seeking a HSE Advisor for their site in the Pilbara.
You will be responsible for the following:
Demonstrate leadership and commitment to safety and health and the environment.
Development, implement and review of the sites and global safety, health and environmental managemnet systems and plans;
Coaching personnel across the company in all aspects of health, safety and the environmental issuse and awareness as required;
Preparation of monthly statistics and reports
Development of training and safety registers;
Conduct safety training including inductions as required;
Liaise with Client as required;
Stocktake and maintain first aid equipment;
Ensure the site maitenance of relevant safety and environmental documentation and records is timely and kept current;
Carry out regular risk assessments (including plant and equipment) and report on the risks arising from those hazards.
Implement control measures to manage the identified risk and monitor the performance of these measures.
Monitor compliance with environmental obligations and relavant legislative requirements including completion of regular audits;
To be considered;
Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessing;
Current WA motor vehicle driver;s licence;
Current police clearance and GSDU;
Diploma Occupational Health & Saftey or relevant discipline in HSE field;
Formal auditors/risk management training sound knowledge of safety, environmental and training requirements in the mining and civil industries;
Detailed knowledge of statutory laws and requirements in the mining and civil industries;
Able to work in remote locations as required.
Minimum of three years mine site experience
Must live in WA ONLY as interviews will take place immediately
