Job Description
As Purchasing Officer you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that goods/materials/services are procured in accordance with specified requirements as to quantity and quality.
• Place purchase orders for direct purchase requisitions.
• Expedite inventory and direct charge purchase orders in accordance with supply procedures.
• Resolve delivery, pricing and/or quality issues with vendors and internal customers as they arise.

The Successful Applicant
In order to be successful in this role will have experience in a purchasing role ideally within a mining environment although not essential. You will have a strong work ethic and be able to work efficiently in a high pressure environment. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow your career in a professional procurement environment will enable you to succeed in this role and beyond.
