About our Client
My client is a well known Australian resources organisation that is currently enjoying a period of sustained growth.

Job Description
You will be responsible for all strategic direct and indirect procurement. Leading a small team you will strive to develop cost saving opportunities whilst following procurement best practice. You will review existing supplier agreements and where possible identify cost saving opportunities. You will be afforded the opportunity to make changes to processes to help streamline and improve the procurement function.

The Successful Applicant
You will be an experienced people manager and enjoy developing and training individuals. You will have strong procurement expertise and have the ability to map, define and improve procurement process within a blue chip organisation. Strong negotiation skills as well as the ability to build strong and lasting relationships is essential.
