About our Client
PanAust is a top 100 ASX listed copper and gold producer based in Brisbane. They have operations in Southeast Asia and growth projects in Laos and Chile. With a mandate for growth through discovery, acquisition and development of key projects, the organisation is now seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to drive a variety of strategic initiatives across the organisation.

Job Description
With direct access and accountability to the GM of Projects, the Commercial Manager will be primarily responsible for the:

• Development of the global procurement strategy for major capital projects
• Negotiating and managing service and supply contracts
• Providing commercial advice and financial analysis on commercial contracts
• Collaborating with site personnel to maximise asset performance
• Delivery of management reports.

The Successful Applicant
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager who has a strong knowledge of the resources and/or construction industries. In addition, you will have previously advised senior executives on business improvement strategies in large companies to drive operational and financial efficiencies.
