About our Client
Our client is a major player in the booming Queensland resources sector, currently operating a number of sites throughout the Bowen Basin. With rapid expansion plans and an impressive existing project pipeline, they are looking to bring on a strong Financial Accountant for an initial 12 month term.

Job Description
Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of financial accounting and consolidations for the company, other responsibilities include:
  • Tax compliance
  • Statutory reporting
  • Management reporting to senior management
  • Actual versus budget analysis
  • Month end preparation including general ledger journals and reconciliations

The Successful Applicant
CA/ CPA qualified you will be an experienced senior financial accountant with previous experience in a heavy industry or Big 4 chartered environment. You will be an enthusiastic candidate with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
