Our client manufactures and supplies heavy industrial equipment including tanks, pumps and storage solutions to the mining, oil & gas industries. Focusing on solution selling they have developed a reputation for not only quality products but for also exceeding customers expectations.

Job Description
As an experienced Business Development Manager you will be required to manage existing relationships along with seeking new opportunities. The position will see you based in Roma servicing the surrounding territory, and as such will require travel to service your customers. The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Preparing quotes and proposals
• Build and maintain strong networks within the region
• Involvement in marketing and sales strategy development
• Provide hands on technical advice and solutions to customers
• Proactively seek new opportunities and up sell to current customer base

The successful candidate will be driven, innovative and seeking career development. Ideally they will posses the following attributes:

• Operational or sales experience within mining or oil & gas; drilling experience is seen as advantageous
• Demonstrated experience in a sales role
• Ability to progress to a leadership role
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Excellent communication and personal presentation
• Sound computer skills
