This forward thinking organisation is known for the strong dedication to safety and the development and support of their staff. Well known as an employer of choice, this company is developing and increasing g production on a daily basis. Due to their growth they are currently recruiting a Risk Specialist to join their Safety team.

As the Risk Specialist you will be heavily involved in identifying potential hazards and risks in all areas of the operating mine site. You will also develop programs to identify such risk and create reports and risk assessments. You will recommend remedies and controls to be implemented to minimise all risk. You will report to the Health and Safety Manager of Rail and Operations Centre and will provide advice and support where possible.

You will have experience in a safety and risk management role within the operational mining industry. You will hold a minimum of a Cert IV in OHS. You will ideally have come from an engineering background and involved in minimising risk and controls surrounding such risks.
