About Our Client
Our client is a leader in the gold mining industry. With the finance team based on site in Kalgoorlie they are now seeking a senior Payroll Officer to join their growing team.

Job Description
Working alongside an additional senior Payroll Officer you will actively coordinate the preparation, processing and completion of the fortnightly payroll for 850 staff. You will also be responsible for all month end procedures related to payroll.

The Successful Applicant
You will need to have at least 5 years payroll experience and have a working knowledge of payroll processes and procedures. Strong communications skills and the ability to work with people across all levels is essential as is the ability to work in a close knit team environment. Experience in understanding and interpreting relevant awards, EBA’s and legislation with be highly regarded as will previous exposure to Oracle.
