Group Administrator - Legal

Reporting to the Corporate Lawyer, you will be part Fortescue Metals Group corporate legal team located in East Perth. Day to day you will be providing administrative support to a busy legal team made up of 5 Lawyers working on a variety of tasks.

Key accountabilities will include:
  • Maintaining and distributing agenda's, various reports and collation of action items for meetings;
  • Co-ordination of travel itineraries, accommodation and transport bookings for the legal team;
  • Typing of minutes, notes, and letters ;
  • Photocopying and scanning documents;
  • Archiving, records management and filing;
  • Production of confidential documents (presentations, reports, spreadsheets, graphics);
  • Organise IT requirements for the department;
  • Liaise with office management for departmental issues;
  • Laminating and binding documents;
  • Credit card reconciliation; &
  • All other duties requested by the Corporate Lawyer.
About you:
To be successful you will have a strong secretarial/personal assistant background preferably within the resources and/or legal sector. With superior communication skills, you will have experience using SAP and be a competent user of Microsoft Office. Your ability to work independently will be important as well as demonstrating excellent planning and organisational skills.
