Systems Training Specialist

Systems Training Specialist (Perth Based)

Reporting to the Systems Training Team Leader, the Systems Training Specialist will develop and deliver training to improve company people's capability and performance in our business processes and major systems, with a particular emphasis on SAP Plant Maintenance, Materials Management, Human Resources/Payroll, Finance/Controlling and Sales/Distribution modules.

You will be accountable for:
  • Conducting Training Needs Analysis across the company business and developing systems training plans to meet these needs
  • Developing systems training packages to ensure a systematic and consistent training approach across the business
  • Developing and maintaining centralised systems training materials, records, schedules and an online portal for company system users
  • Coordinating SAP training schedules with site teams
  • Delivering systems training across the company using appropriate training methods and providing coaching on-the-job to ensure that the training is effective and utilised
  • Providing specialised input on training approaches based on the analysis of the system impacts and business requirements
  • Identifying resistance and performance gaps, and working to develop and implement training as required
To be considered, you must have:
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment
  • Demonstrated experience in a training and development field
  • Previous training experience in SAP 
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated training and group facilitation skills
  • Willingness to travel to Fortescue Operational sites
