About the Role: 2 Project Directors/Senior Project Manager required for leading PM Consultancy to be based in Sydney. Working for this top tier consultancy you will be responsible for multimillion dollar redevelopment projects. 

You will be responsible for one of the following projects: 

• Banking
• Education
• Defence

You will be responsible for providing professional advice throughout all stages of the project including Planning, Construction Design and delivery stages. Working with the client through the project life cycle, providing support and advisory services including:

• Program Management
• Strategic Risk Management
• Project Scope Definition
• Business Case Development
• Value Management
• Drafting Proposals

You will be managing project scopes, ensuring the project is delivered on time and to budget whist achieving all project objectives.

You will be working to a managing contractor model so you must have experience of working to this Model

Requirements: Our client is seeking the following requirements for this position:

• Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience. 
• Managing Contractor Contract Experience  
• Have experience managing projects from inception to completion to the value of $150 Million. 
• Preferably hold a degree in Construction, Project Management, or Building 
• The successful applicant would ideally be chartered or working towards becoming chartered. 
• Previous experience fo dealing with commonwealth agencies
• Advanced ability to plan, manage and deliver numerous projects. 
• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated project management skills, effective negotiation skills, analytical and decision-making abilities. 
• Must be proficient in PC applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, as well as e-mail and Internet searches.
