About the Electrical Safety officer Role: Our client is seeking a Safety officer to initially oversee the health & safety aspect on major projects in New South Wales. The projects entails Substations, civil works construction and High Voltage This is a site based role that will mean liaising extensively with the principle contractor and client on an everyday basis as well as your own management and site teams.  

About the Requirements for the Electrical Safety Officer: The successful applicant will be capable of leading a technically challenging project from a health and safety aspect. You will have a proven track record with health and safety and possess relevant and up to date safety qualifications. You will ideally come from an Electrical / Mechanical background or at least an engineering background. 

This role is very in depth and will involve you being site based and working very closely with the client and principle contactor. A strong aptitude for health & safety, excellent communication and a detailed approach to keeping accurate paperwork and records is vital to your success in this role.
