Tailing & Rehabilitation Superintended

To effectively manage and control the building and maintenance of Tailings Dam.

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant Engineering or Environmental Management Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the maintenance and operational system related to the handling and building of mine residue disposal facilities

Knowledge:

  • Materials

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 management

  • Manage and maintain building equipment
  • Reclaim adequate water of good standard for re-use by main plant
  • Compile and manage budget
  • Ensure compliance to SHREQ; Health- and Safety requirements
  • Handle all tailings cost effectively
  • Ensure appropriate staffing requirements
  • Perform administration
  • Plan and implement rehabilitation programme
  • Develop and manage performance of staff
  • Manage and control contractors
