Boilershop Foreman

Our Client is currently seeking a Boilershop Foreman to join their team.

Skills / Edu / Exp

• Must have completed a Trade in Boilermaking
• Must have a min of 15 years post apprenticeship exp
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be medically fit
• Have min 10 years heavy earth moving equipment exp in an open pit mining environment
• Have min 8 years exp in leading a team, good leadership skills
• Should have working exp on the various welding techniques
• Must be able to read engineering drawings
• Must be familiar and well experienced in large bucket repairs and heating processes
• Have the  ability to plan, lead and supervise
• The ability to compile machine inspections
• Good Computer literacy skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• A strong focus on safety and health practices

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in the maintenance and repairs of all load bins, wear liners, buckets and other ground engaging tools.
• Good understanding of maintenance processes
• Carry out machine inspections and draw up and execute planned shut programs
• Good management style
• Ordering of parts, steel, components
• All managing criteria of a team
• Job card requisite
• Ensure all safety standards and quality standards are adhered to
