Project Engineering Intern

Position Summary

  • The intern's role will be as an assistant Project Engineering administrator.
  • The intern will take a lead role in the compilation, organization and formatting of draft project delivery documents into a unified methodology document set. The intern may be tasked with creating/editing procedures from verbal descriptions to fill gaps as reasonable. Documents the intern will create or modify include project documentation templates, implementation procedures and checklists, tuning logs, project schedules and other documents related to the implementation of model predictive control applications.
  • The intern will receive overview instruction on model predictive control, consultative project delivery and project management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled full time at an accredited college or university majoring in Business or Engineering. Candidates need to have excellent English technical writing and oral communication skills and possess an interest in the management of custom software application engineering services. Candidates must be willing to work with minimal supervision, be a self starter and have good organization skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience using Microsoft Word formatting and style definitions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project helpful.
  • Some VBA experience helpful.
