Construction Manager - EPC

Responsibilities

  • This is a job construction site management position and assumes responsibility for both administrative and technical aspects of constructing a project.

Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Manages project objectives within the contract and agreed upon scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Regulates and enforces jobsite policies, programs or activities by establishing standards, promoting improvements, training personnel and evaluating compliance.
  • Monitors construction operations including manpower, construction equipment usage, and production.
  • Participates in project audits, including safety, quality, environmental, legal and discipline.
  • Ensures the project is being executed in accordance with the project schedule and has responsibility over the 90-Day project schedule.
  • Manages Construction Equipment usage on the project; including type of equipment and duration on site; overall responsibility for equipment rent budget.
  • Supervises assigned job site personnel.

Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree in engineering or construction management.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in all aspects of managing commercial and industrial construction projects with a proven track record of successful outcomes.  EPC, refinery/petrochem experience highly preferred.
  • Effective oral & written communication skills
  • Strong organization/time management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies, and ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States both now & in the future.
