Technical Enterprise Systems Engineer

Job Description

• Provide a variety of Information Technology (IT) systems design and computer architectural design in all IT Business Projects. The position is strategic in nature, where this position works to bridge all business processes within the company's systems together for efficiency and productivity. Working as part of a team, and/or as a subject matter expert, this position uses their technical background to help analyze alternative application software, process improvements, network, security and hardware architectures. Interpret and document system functions and requirements and communicate and coordinate this with the development team and the internal business customer to [Company] By reviewing and analyzing requirements throughout the development process, assists the project team in maintaining a balance among development cost, schedule and performance parameters.
• The Technical Enterprise Systems Engineer will coordinate, direct, and design most operational activities of the IT department, as well as provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations. The Technical Enterprise Systems Engineer will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

Required Experience

• Two or more years of experience in an engineering discipline with an emphasis on software, hardware or network development, integration and maintenance; one or more years of experience performing duties similar to those of an Enterprise Systems Engineer. Work experience should include project management of a complex project and high customer service skills. Communication skills are a must. It is preferred that the candidate has extensive experience in multiple systems engineering and/or IT architecture disciplines. Experience with Oracle ERP and Technical Infrastructure along with experience in the mining industry or similar would be preferable. Web Development, Workflow integration, Business Process Redesign are also skills necessary for this position.
• B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Science, or an equivalent technical degree program with specific, relevant work experience.
