Hydrogeologist

Overview:

  • [Company] . is looking for a motivated hydrogeologist with relevant course work in hydrogeology and environmental sciences to join our San Diego Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Report writing (site investigation, groundwater monitoring, sub-surface data)
  • Data compilation, interpretation, and graphical presentation (contouring, mapping, cross sections)
  • Hydrogeologic studies and site characterization
  • Groundwater well design and installation
  • Site investigation (soil, groundwater, soil vapor and sediment sampling activities)
  • Aquifer pumping tests, injection testing, bail-down tests, slug tests
  • Groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology or Geology (Master's preferred)
  • OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER training preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and written and oral communication skills
  • Travel to temporary assignments and time in the field will be required
  • Pursuit of CA Registered Geologist or Certified Hydrogeologist
