The Opportunity:
Work within one of Australia's largest independent coal producers. You will have the opportunity to lead and influence the culture and processes within the procurement team. You will have the chance to streamline processes, making an impact towards the continuous improvement and growth of the company.

The Role:
You will be required to improve, streamline and implement all strategic sourcing, contracts and procurement activities. You will lead and support the Contracts specialist team. You will keep abreast with all modern philosophies and methodologies surrounding Supply Chain whilst maintaining client relationships and negotiating with potential suppliers.

You will be assigned to tasks such as:

• Leading and supporting the contracts team
• Executing the successful negotiating of contracts
• The continuous improvement of systems, policies and procedures
• Presenting professional business proposals to business executives
• The Requirements

To be successful in your application you will have:

• Tertiary Education in Business, law or commerce
• 10 years experience in procurement positions
• 5 years experience in the coal mining industry
• Contract Management experience
• Proven success in leadership
