Sales Representative - Mining Consumable Products

As a major OEM within the extractive sector, my client is seeking a proactive individual who will allow you to utilise your entrepreneurial skills to rapidly expand their market space. Your ability to manage major accounts as well as identify new business opportunities is the key to your success.
 
Based in Mackay and reporting to the Regional Manager, your challenge is to over-service existing end users to develop new business through providing superior customer service. You will be joining a small but dedicated team of sales professionals, promoting a range of consumable items such as wear plate, rubber and polymer screening products. You will be provided with technical support and training in the latest product application providing you with a competitive advantage.
 
What you will need

• Sound business development skills, with a persistent and upbeat attitude
• Mechanical or industrial knowledge in either the engineering, mining or industrial sector, potentially having completed a mechanical trade 
• The ability to travel up to three days a week away from home
• Sound time management with detailed verbal and written communication skills
• A desire to build a career with a leading extractive OEM
