Land Surveying Manager

Established for 30 years, our client is a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy. They are driven by excellence and a clear client focus and takes pride in providing innovative, accurate and cost effective solutions to every project they undertake.

Due to an internal vacancy they are now seeking a NSW Registered Surveyor (or equivalent) to join their team and take on the role of Survey Manager for their Central West NSW office. With full support from their head office in Sydney you will be managing a multi-disciplinary team of Surveyors, assistants, survey engineers and CAD drafters by assuming total control of the office operations.

Your role as survey manager will incorporate a hands on approach to field survey work including carrying out various cadastral surveys as well as training junior staff and when necessary leading field parties.

You will also be required to prepare fee proposals and win new work for the business in order to facilitate continued growth in the area while utilising your friendly, out-going manner to reach out to the local community and extend my clients already stellar reputation.

To be eligible to apply for this role you will have;

• A degree in Surveying or other relevant tertiary qualification
• Registered (or be eligible to) with BOSSI in NSW
• A track record of impeccable OH&S standards Previous mining experience is highly desirable
• A people friendly manner and willingness to get involved with the local community
• 5+ years experience in NSW
• A valid NSW Driving licence

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cadastral Surveyor to relocate to Central West NSW and join a long established private consultancy and assume control of a pivotal position within a strategically important office for the company. You will enjoy full support and co-ordination with the Sydney Office and take advantage of their graduate surveyors for assistance when necessary.
