Essential:

Duties:
- Report to Engineering Manager
- To provide Process Engineering services at a Snr Level, covering all activities ranging from client interaction.
Project Development:
- Design,

- Construction Support & commissioning in line with Safety,

HSEC Management
- Focus on Safety Culture Change for the Team
- Contribute to improving lead & lag (RIFR) indicators for the team and display a positive, proactive knowledge of Company Safety performance
- Contribute to reviews undertaken for projects to ensure compliance with statutory SA obligations
- Ensure the appropriate statutory and industry accreditations, training and competency levels are obtained
- Ensure hazardous area designs are reviewed and implemented as required
- People Development
- Identify own training and development needs and ensure statutory requirements are met
- Participate in the performance management process by developing a personal plan and identifying specific skills developments
- Provide timely and meaningful communication to the team, Group Leader and the Engineering Manager.
- Participate in resource planning across the Engineering Team to ensure that the engineering team and project needs are met.
- Participate in Graduate Program and provide mentoring (non-technical) during program.
- Coach, advise and support team members (technically and professionally) and contribute positively to team cohesiveness
- Raise team member concerns/issues and expectations with the Group Leader and Engineering Manager in a timely manner
- Ensure self-awareness and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Business Performance
- Provide engineering support to the project teams in line with direction from the Group Leaders and Engineering Leadership Team whilst maximising individual and teams utilisation
- Produce and monitor engineering man hour budgets during concept, study, tender and detailed design stage as required
- Engineering Administration – Manage scheduling of work, priorities, and resource requirements
- Focus on meeting schedule expectations described by the Lead Engineers and Design Leaders / Study Leaders.
- Focus on meeting quality expectations described by the Lead Engineer / Design Leaders / Study Leaders
- Focus on internal & external client satisfaction.
- Communicate with client representatives on projects to ensure the customer has input into project delivery standards and outcomes
Business Development
- Ensure engineering designs follow the standard Company design workflows, systems and procedure
- Continuous improvement of design systems used by the organisation (CAD development, calculations, models, review process, SAS, in-house tools, etc).
- Investigate and implement innovative solutions to enable Company to meet Clients commitments during a high engineering demand in the industry
- Design Management
- Ensure project time and cost KPI’s are met - Monitor effectiveness of plant designs, scheduling of work, resource
- requirements and review compliance with project execution plan (schedule) and client expectations.
- Contribute to periodic reporting: Project progress; resource requirements, Project budget versus cost, priorities, allocation of work, team needs.
- Ensure checking and review processes are completed. Review designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes, Australian / International Standards and Company Standards.
- Comply with any Change Management process for engineering design
- Estimating, budgeting, final design take-offs (FDT’s) and basic document control using SAS or similar
Quality Assurance
- Participate in the development and continuous improvement of the Quality assurance system
- Ensure all documentation is auditable and correctly filed, collated and indexed by originator as part of normal procedure.
- Ensure all issued documentation meets Company filing, emailing and document control procedures and protocols.
- Develop a strong appreciation for Company standard specifications, typical/standard drawings, and calculations/simulations to reflect current industry standards
