Sales Engineer

My client requires an experienced sales engineer to join their established business in Middelburg - MP.

Minimum Qualifications 

• Matric
• Qualified N3 fitter
• Minimum experience
• 5 years experience in mechanical engineering
• 3 years experience in sales within a mining environment  or a heavy industrial environment
• Strong engineering background
• N6 fitter with mining or heavy industrial experience
• At least 3 year post qualification experience in pumping applications
• Project management experience
• Skills required
• Customer Orientated
• Good Communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Be dependable and trustworthy
• Proficiency in Business English
• Be able to work with little supervision
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to plan sales calls and compile activity reports
• Be willing to travel, work additional hours when required and perform stand-by duties

You will be required to perform the following duties

• Site evaluations & calculations
• Maintaining projects
• Generate new projects
• Forecasting of pumps & spares
• Expedited various pumps & spares orders
• Observe all HSE requirements at the Branch
• Submit quotes & tenders
