The Role

Reporting to the HSE Manager and working in a small friendly team you will be responsible for looking after the safety of 250 employees and in addition:

•Developing and implementation of OHS Management Systems.
•Monitoring, auditing and reporting on site activities.
•Carrying out on site training.
•Collaborating and liaising with contractors on site to instill a safety culture.
•Identifying areas for improvement and a safety focus.

Role Requirement;

To be considered for this role potential candidates must possess the following:-

ESSENTIAL
• Completion of Secondary Level Education, with five years industry experience (preferably within Mining / Resources sector);
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Tertiary Qualifications in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment;

DESIRABLE
• An Environmental Qualification
• Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment

To be successful in your application you will possess relevant qualification in OHS&E with relevant Mining and Construction experience, excellent communication skills with solid analytical and problem solving skills. In addition, you will possess a keen eye for detail and ultimately a passion for safety.
