Commercial Sales Specialist

Position Summary

  • Responsible for achieving sales growth within the district by providing analytical and presales support.
  • Assist in highlighting business intelligence, planning and executing value add programs, campaigns and events.
  • Responsibilities include responding to internal and external customers to address and resolve inquires and providing presales support by identifying growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate and team with sales engineers to increase sales force effectiveness.
  • Demonstrates responsiveness and promptness in serving internal customer needs. Increasingly attunes oneself to the unique needs of internal and external customers.
  • Strives to understand how one’s work contributes to the growth of the company. Seeks clarity around the role one plays in supporting the company’s growth strategies.
  • Willingly contributes to group efforts. Willing to lead team/project initiatives within a work area.
  • Increasingly identifies opportunities to improve processes. Seeks and implements process improvement ideas in primary work area.
  • Helps to identify innovative and beneficial uses of technology.
  • Demonstrates an active interest in business strategies and goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline, marketing, business administration (or equivalent experience) with minimum three years of related experience.
  • Previous experience in a sales or sales support environment is desired.
  • Project management experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • SAP experience.
  • Previous experience in a sales or sales support environment is desired.
