Quality Manager

Due to an increase in workload, there is a fantastic opportunity for a suitably qualified Quality Manager to join the analytical branch of a UK recognised Environmental Consultancy. Our client provides a range of analytical services to the environmental services industry, such as specialising in the analysis of pesticide and persistent organic pollutants in soil samples.

Individuals suitable for this position will hold demonstrable managerial experience in an environmental based, UKAS accredited laboratory. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with a Chemistry based academic background.
Salary - to £30,000 coupled with excellent Benefits.

Main duties of the role will include ensuring analysis of samples are completed in accordance with UKAS/ISO/MCERTs guidelines, in addition to training and supervising new and junior laboratory staff. Setting sample deadlines and ensuring standard operating procedures are adhered to will also be a large requirement in this position.
