Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, currently on the lookout for a Landscape Technical Director. Previously, this award winning company has sub-contracted out its landscape and visual workload, however they are now looking to develop an in-house Landscape department through the initial recruitment of a Landscape Technical Director.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to grow and develop a team of Landscape specialists, to cover an expanding workload and client portfolio in-house.
Main Responsibilities
• Technical and line management lead for all landscape and visual elements within the consultancy
• Liaise with a portfolio of clients
• Perform visual impact assessments in relation to renewable energy, marine and infrastructure projects
• Produce high quality technical reports, including extensive landscape and visual Environmental Statement chapters
Applicants suitable for this position will possess a strong background in landscape/environmental consultancy. Within this, you must show experience of developing and leading a successful team along with exemplary knowledge of the energy and EIA sector.
