Lycopodium Minerals Canada is a growing engineering firm providing a ‘full suite’ of multi-disciplined consulting engineering services to the mining & minerals processing industry from conceptual studies through to feasibility analysis, detailed design, engineering and construction (EPCM) of processing and infrastructure facilities.

With an established Head Office in Perth Australia and over 900 employees worldwide our Mississauga office has been operating for over 1 year and is well positioned to successfully execute projects around the world.

Due to the recent award to 2 projects based in Africa we are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Controls Manager to join our team in Mississauga.

Dedicated to one of the newly awarded projects the Project Controls Manager is accountable for:

• Ensuring the necessary project controls are implemented and maintained for the project
• Provide quality up to date data and diagnostics to assist with the management of project activities
• Initiating continuous improvements to project control procedures and processes, in particular cost control, scheduling and performance management
• Coordinating cost, scheduling and performance reporting in accordance with company and client requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• Tertiary qualification

• 10+ years experience in project controls roles within the mineral processing or construction industries
• 5+ years managerial experience
• A strong background in scheduling and cost control
• International projects experience (desirable)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Oracle ERP, Primavera and/or Prism (desirable)
