Business Unit Description
- $8M of contract opportunities ($3M Mauritania, ~$5M Algeria) in 2012 hinge in part on having these capabilities colocated with programs, contracts and customer support functions i n Fremont, CA. Current multi-lingual staff capabilities are not sufficient to support these requirements.
Job Summary
Provides international project related support to Contracts, Marketing, Programs and Customer Support
Responsibilities
- Provide cross-functional French communication support for all foreign projects.
- Assists with foreign language proposal preparation: identification and creation of required documents for compliance, communication with foreign representatives and procurement agencies.
- Act as customer liaison creating and maintaining relationship with French speaking customers. From time to time requires working non-standard working hours.
- Coordination of remote international field personnel
- Interacts with customers to resolve issues and questions during the bid, execution, warranty and post warranty phases of the project.
- Provides administrative support including the translation and interpretation of documents related to projects.
- Performs other project related duties for Marketing, Contracts, Programs and Customer support on an as needed basis.
- Requires international travel (not more than 20% of time)
Qualifications
Knowledge & Education Required
- 4-year degree or equivalent
- 3 years of general business experience
Skills and Abilities Required
- Extensive knowledge of MS office
- Native or equivalent verbal & written French language skills
- Good verbal & written English skills.
- Highly accurate, strong attention to detail
- Good project management skills
Preferred
- Other foreign languages
- Experience. with ORACLE
