Project Geologist

• ARCADIS is seeking a Project Geologist to assist with a growing number of projects. This position may be located in our Newtown, PA office.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for managing large tasks for client team project managers
• Implement work plans and supervise field crews, technical staff
• Collecting air/soil/ground water samples
• Groundwater mapping/contouring
• Cost estimating
• Working with contractors and clients
• Evaluating data/Writing reports
• Data management
• Aquifer testing and analysis
• Experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation preferred.
• Experience in implementing work plans, knowledge of risk assessment regulations, and project management required.
• Excellent staff management, proposal, organizational, and scheduling skills are a must.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills are also required.
• Local candidates only; no relocation or candidate travel reimbursement for this position.

Basic and Required Qualifications:

• Minimum years of experience: 7
• Education required: BS in Geology, Environmental Science or related field
• Registrations/Certifications required: PG/PE

Additional and Preferred Qualifications:

• Education preferred: MS in Geology, Environmental Science or related field
• Years’ experience preferred: 7-10
• This position does require travel. Travel amount is negligible.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
• This position does not manage others.
