Health and Safety Professional

[Company] provides engineering consulting/construction management services to mining and other industrial and municipal clients.  The majority of our team has worked together for the past six to 13 years.  [Company] is employee owned & operated and has been in business for 13 years.  EMC² has office locations in Phoenix AZ, Denver CO and Bozeman MT.

This is a technical product development/field representative position located in our Phoenix office.

Minimum qualifications/requirements for this position are:

• Health and Safety professional with a BS in a related discipline and 8+ years’ experience;
• Construction and/or mining experience;
• MSHA experience and regulations knowledge proficiency a must;
• MSHA trainer certification a plus;
• OSHA safety regulations working knowledge/experience;
• Experience in development and maintenance of corporate programs;
• Hazard identification and mitigation experience for construction projects;
• Development and management of monitoring programs (e.g., noise and air quality);
• Experience in performing field audits and inspections;
• Experience with civil engineering design risk analysis a plus;
• Willingness to travel/work in the field for interim or extended periods required;
• Demonstration of sound documentation skills required;
• Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.); and
• 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER training a plus.
