Staff Environmental Engineer

• [Company] Remediation East Team in Newtown, PA is seeking a Staff Environmental Engineer to support a growing base of projects.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Full-time technical position involves the execution of remediation and environmental assessment project tasks.
• Ability to work with team members for the completion of field assignments will be important, including the ability to conduct work within scope, schedule, quality criteria, and budget.
• Knowledge of field methods for the collection and evaluation of environmental data from hydrogeologic investigations and from the design, construction and operation of remediation systems a plus.
• Position will include the evaluation of data to support projects and PMs, and preparation of detailed data summary reports, remedial alternatives evaluations, treatment system design packages (text, drawings, calculations, etc.), contractor bid packages, etc.
• Local candidates only; no candidate travel or relocation reimbursement will be provided.

Basic and Required Qualifications:

• Minimum years of experience: 3
• Education required: BS in Engineering, with emphasis in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Geological or related discipline.
• Special considerations, specific technical experience, skills, etc.: Strong writing and problem solving skills a must. Experience with design and/or operation of treatment systems a plus.

Additional and Preferred Qualifications:

• Education preferred: MS in Engineering, with emphasis in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Geological or related discipline.
• Registrations/Certifications preferred: EIT or PE, OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER
• Years’ experience preferred: 3-8
• This position does require travel. Travel amount is variable.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
• This position does not manage others.
